Who Are We?

"The Circle" is a group of readers and writers who are enjoying some crossover between our fantasies and RL. We are a space in which a small group of readers can play out their submissive fantasies and share their 'experiences' with others.

Each of the participants is in charge of their own reality. They may or may not be actually doing what they write about, it's part of the mystery of the Internet and the power of the human imagination.

What Is "The Circle"?

The Circle is a group of people who met online as fans of various writers of adult fiction, primarily of the D/s type.

Why Do We Do This?

Most of us do this for a very simple reason: we are turned on by the idea of D/s but, for whatever reason, don't want to or can't make it a part of our RL. For us, the sexual turn on of a good fantasy is just as powerful (maybe even more powerful) than a RL encounter.

D/s relationships are very complex in terms of balancing one's RL with one's fantasy life. "The Circle" provides a safe place to enjoy these kinds of interactions with willing and consenting adults.

Is It Safe?

There are several answers to this question.

Physically, this is completely safe. The submissive is 100% in control of whether they are or are not actually carrying out any of the tasks they're assigned. RL always takes precedence in everything we do. Nobody is expected to do anything that they don't want to do.

Privacy is very important to many of the people who participate. We cannot do anything to ensure privacy, especially if you comment on the blog or otherwise contact each other. We always suggest that the email you are using is an alias, it shouldn't be your work email, your school email, or one that others have access to. 

Is it safe psychologically, spiritually, in terms of your relationships, addictions, obsessions and compulsions? That's a whole different topic and there are a lot of places online to investigate those questions. And we seriously, seriouslys suggest that you do. Everyone here is expected to be here of their own free will, only consenting adults are wanted.
